Renovation of our guest house has recently been completed, with the emphasis on maintaining the integrity of our late Victorian family home. 

Tawelfa, traditionally built using local Welsh stone and slate, is conveniently situated a five minute   walk from the picturesque harbour town of Barmouth, with its award winning Blue Flag beach and captivating views of the Mawddach estuary.

Open eleven months of the year, a warm welcome awaits you at Tawelfa, where guests have been offered bed and breakfast accommodation, since  the 1940's as the original visitors book, on display in the dining room bears testimony to.

Tawelfa guest rooms are decorated to a high standard, offering quality accommodation with spacious en-suite bath   or shower rooms.  Our rooms are situated on the first and second floor, some with a sea view.

We have a much loved elderly resident cat, "Smartie", who adopted us 2 years ago. She is not allowed into any of our guest rooms, or the dining room.
